PREVENTION EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS, AND ADULTS. PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED IN SCHOOLS AND IN COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL GROUPS. TOPICS CONSIST OF PERSONAL SAFETY, IDENTIFYING SAFE ADULTS, BOUNDARY SETTING, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, BY-STANDER INTERVENTION, IDENTIFYING AND REPORTING ABUSE, AND OTHER TOPICS RELATED TO PREVENTING VIOLENT OR SEXUAL CRIMES. THE VICTIM CENTER PROVIDED 4,142 UNITS OF SERVICE TO 4,142 INDIVIDUALS.
FREE OF CHARGE SERVICES TO ADULTS WHO HAVE SURVIVED A VIOLENT OR SEXUAL CRIME. SERVICES CONSIST OF 24-HOUR CRISIS RESPONSE, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP TRAUMA THERAPY, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES, PERSONAL ADVOCACY, AND COURT SUPPORT. THE VICTIM CENTER PROVIDED 10,425 UNITS OF SERVICE TO 1,917 ADULTS.
