MOUNT HOPE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION IS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE CEMETERY BURIAL PLOTS FOR THE CATHOLICS IN PERRY COUNTY. A NEW FUND RAISER BEGAN IN 2005 TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PROPERTY FOR FUTURE CEMETERY PLOTS. A MAUSOLEUM WAS CONSTRUCTED BEGINNING IN APRIL, 2007 AND COMPLETED IN JULY, 2007. PRE-SALES AND ONGOING SALES OF NICHES AND CRYPTS ARE PART OF A NEW FUNCTION OF THE CEMETERY ASSOCIATION. A NEW CHAPEL MAUSOLEUM WAS BEING CONSTRUCTED BEGINNING IN APRIL, 2015. THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WAS COMPLETED IN 2016. PRE-SALES WAS THE FUNDING USED TO PAY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION COSTS.
