THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED, AND AT ALL TIMES SHALL BE OPERATED, EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES (WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED (THE 'CODE," WITH ANY REFERENCE TO A PROVISION OF THE "CODE" HEREIN ALSO DEEMED TO INCLUDE A REFERENCE TO THE CORRESPONDING PROVISION OF ANY FUTURE FEDERAL TAX CODE)) IN ORDER TO ASSIST THE CHARLESTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, A SOUTH CAROLINA POLITICAL SUBDIVISION (THE "SCHOOL DISTRICT") IN PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, AND THE CORPORATION SHALL HAVE NO POWER TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES NOT IN FURTHERANCE OF SUCH PURPOSES.
