THE ORGANIZATION SERVED OVER 14,000 HOT NUTRITIONAL MEALS DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 2021. MEALS ARE SERVED EVERY MONDAY, THE FOURTH THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH AND ON SELECTED HOLIDAYS. IN 2021, MEALS WERE SERVED ON A DRIVE-UP AND CARRY-OUT BASIS DUE TO COVID RELATED RESTRICTIONS. A "BACKPACK PROGRAM" HAS ALSO BEEN ESTABLISHED, PROVIDING A WEEKEND PACKAGE OF SNACKS FOR SALEM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE. THE "BACKPACK PROGRAM" WAS INACTIVE IN 2021 DUE TO COVID RELATED RESTRICTIONS.
