TO SERVE, PROMOTE AND SECURE INDUSTRY, BUSINESS AND THE WELL-BEING OF THE DYERSVILLE COMMUNITY THROUGH BUSINESS RETENTION AND EXPANSION, NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

THE RECREATION CENTER EXISTS TO PROVIDE THE CITIZENS OF DYERSVILLE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WITH A FACILITY TO IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN THEIR PHYSICAL WELL-BEING. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 500 MEMBERSHIPS OUTSTANDING IN 2022.


DYERSVILLE INDUSTRIES, INC EXISTS TO PROMOTE THE INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION OF THE CITY OF DYERSVILLE. THERE WERE 5 JOBS ADDED IN 2022.


THE MUSEUM IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE A NATIONAL COLLECTION OF FARM TOYS. THE MUSEUM IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THERE WERE 10,069 PAID ADMISSIONS TO THE MUSEUM IN 2022.


THE TOY SHOW IS TO PROMOTE THE NATIONAL FARM TOY MUSEUM. COLLECTORS GATHER EACH YEAR TO DISPLAY AND SELL THEIR COLLECTIONS AND TOUR THE MUSEUM. THERE WERE 87 EXHIBITORS AT THE 2022 SUMMER TOY SHOW.
