ELEVATE IOWA IS A STATEWIDE, INTEGRATED CAMPAIGN TO ENCOURAGE CAREERS AND EDUCATIONAL PATHWAYS IN ADVANCED MANUFACTURING. THIS BEGINS WITH BUILDING A POSITIVE PERCEPTION OF THESE CAREERS WHILE ADDRESSING MISCONCEPTIONS OF WORK ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY, AND WAGES.
LEADERSHIP IOWA EXISTS TO EDUCATE, MOTIVATE AND DEVELOP A NETWORK OF INFORMED LEADERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE AND TO ENCOURAGE ONGOING ENGAGEMENT IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND THE STATE TO CREATE A BETTER FUTURE FOR IOWANS.
BUSINESS HORIZONS EDUCATES IOWA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ABOUT ECONOMICS, THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN TODAY'S WORKPLACE, LEADERSHIP AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, AND WHY IOWA IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK DURING THIS UNIQUE ONE-WEEK SUMMER PROGRAM.
