THE COOKIE CART (THE ORGANIZATION) IS A NONPROFIT COMMUNITY CORPORATION THAT PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT SKILLS FOR YOUTH IN NORTH MINNEAPOLIS AND THE EAST SIDE OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA. THE ORGANIZATION IS THE TWIN CITIES' LEADER IN YOUTH SOCIAL ENTERPRISE, WHERE HUNDREDS OF TEENS LEARN AND BUILD REAL WORLD SKILLS THAT PREPARE THEM FOR SUCCESSFUL FUTURES. THE ORGANIZATION COMBINES PAID WORK EXPERIENCE IN A SMALL BUSINESS SETTING (THE BAKERY)WITH AUXILIARY WORKSHOPS TO PROMOTE CAREER AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUTH. IN 2021, COOKIE CART EMPLOYED 211 YOUTH ACROSS THE TWIN CITIES METRO.
