IOWA MOTOR TRUCK ASSOCIATION (IMTA) - A TRADE ASSOCIATION WHOSE PRIMARY MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE ABILITY OF ITS MEMBERS TO SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY SERVE THE NATION'S TRANSPORTATION NEEDS THROUGH CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT. THIS INCLUDES A HEALTH AND LIFE INSURANCE SERVICE FOR MEMBERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE IMTA GROUP INSURANCE PLAN OFFERED THROUGH WELLMARK. IMTA PROVIDES ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES FOR THE PLAN.
IOWA COUNCIL OF SAFETY MANAGEMENT (ICSM) - THE MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROMOTE SAFETY WITHIN THE INDUSTRY. ICSM FUNDS FILM LIBRARY PURCHASES, PERFORMS VEHICLE SAFETY CHECKS, AND PROVIDES COMPLIMENTARY SAFETY CONSULTING TO IMTA MEMBERS. IT HOSTS THE ANNUAL TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
