QUAD CITIES GREYHOUND ADOPTION IS A GROUP OF UNPAID VOLUNTEERS WHOSE PURPOSSE IS TO LOCATE LOVING HOMES FOR GREYHOUNDS NO LONGER NEEDED BY THE RACING INDUSTRY. THE CLIENT BASE IS ESTIMATED AT AROUND 350 AND OVER 500 GREYHOUNDS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.

THE WAREHOUSE HOUSES ALL DOGS AS THEY AWAIT ADOPTION.
VOLUNTEERS TRAVEL THOUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES TO RETRIEVE DOGS. THEN, THE DOGS ARE TRANSPORTED TO THE WAREHOUSE WHERE THEY WILL RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE AND BEDDING AS THEY AWAIT ADOPTION. MANY VOLUNTEERS ASK TO NOT BE REIMBURSED FOR THEIR TRAVEL EXPENSES.
