NORTHWOODS PARTNERS VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF SPENT 8,123 HOURS SERVING AREA SENIORS AND CAREGIVERS. OVER 500 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED ONE OR MORE OF OUR SERVICES DURING 2021. NORTHWOODS PARTNERS RECRUITED, TRAINED AND COORDINATED 81 VOLUNTEERS DURING 2021. PROGRAMS INCLUDED TRANSPORTATION, EXERCISE BUDDY PROGRAM, FRIENDLY VISITS, CAREGIVER AND RESPITE PROGRAMS, SUPPORT GROUPS, MEMORY CARE PROGRAMS AND ADVANCE CARE PLANNING SERVICES. NORTHWOODS PARTNERS CONTINUED TO OFFER EXERCISE PROGRAMS SUCH AS TAI JI QUAN, MEMORIES & MOVEMENT, EXERCISE BUDDY AND GROUP EXERCISE PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE BALANCE, REDUCE FALLS AND INCREASE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN OLDER ADULTS.
