NORTHWOODS PARTNERS VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF SPENT 15,256 HOURS SERVING AREA SENIORS AND CAREGIVERS. NORTHWOODS PARTNERS RECRUITED, TRAINED AND COORDINATED 87 VOLUNTEERS DURING 2023. PROGRAMS INCLUDED TRANSPORTATION, EXERCISE BUDDY PROGRAM, FRIENDLY VISITS, CAREGIVER AND RESPITE PROGRAMS, SUPPORT GROUPS, MEMORY CARE PROGRAMS AND ADVANCE CARE PLANNING SERVICES. NORTHWOODS PARTNERS CONTINUED TO OFFER EXERCISE PROGRAMS SUCH AS TAI JI QUAN, MEMORIES & MOVEMENT, EXERCISE BUDDY AND GROUP EXERCISE PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE BALANCE, REDUCE FALLS AND INCREASE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN OLDER ADULTS. 23 BOARD AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS PROVIDED 1,722 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES TO NORTHWOODS PARTNERS.
