ODYSSEY ACADEMY TEACHES THE WHOLE CHILD IN A HOLISTIC ENVIRONMENT THAT FOCUSES ON CREATING HEALTHY BODIES AND HEALTHY MINDS BY FOSTERING HEALTHY EATING HABITS AND PROVIDING STUDENTS WITH GYM THREE TIMES A WEEK. WE ALSO MAINTAIN AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUILDING. HEALTHY MINDS ARE NURTURED IN OUR MULTI-AGE CLASSROOMS, ALLOWING STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER AND ALLOWING PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND TEACHERS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS ALONG WITH TAKING EXPEDITIONS INTO REAL WORLD SITUATIONS, AND SERVICE LEARNING HELPS SHAPE OUR STUDENTS INTO RESPONSIBLE, ENGAGED CITIZENS. DURING THE YEAR, WE FINISHED OUR SUMMER SCHOOL OPERATIONS AND CLOSED THE BUILDING.
