MINNESOTA WASTE WISE FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT WHOSE MISSION IS TO HELP BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS IMPLEMENT MORE SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES WHILE SAVING MONEY AND PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTING SERVICES CONTINUE TO BENEFIT MINNESOTA BUSINESSES AND NONPROFIT COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE, AND OUR SERVICES ARE SOUGHT AFTER BY MORE FUNDING ENTITIES EACH YEAR. THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, COUNTIES, OTHER ENTITES CONTRACT WITH MINNESOTA WASTE WISE TO HELP THEM ADVANCE THEIR GOALS TO REDUCE THE COMMERCIAL WASTE GENERATED. ENERGY UTILITIES CONTRACT WITH MINNESOTA WASTE WISE TO HELP THEM ADVANCE COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL ENERGY REDUCTION PROJECTS. MINNESOTA WASTE WISE CONTINUES TO GROW AND PRODUCE IMPRESSIVE RESULTS. WE'RE PLEASED TO REPORT THE FOLLOWING RESULTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022: -4,861 DIRECT SERVICES PROVIDED TO MORE THAN 1561 BUSINESES IN 139 CITIES THROUGHOUT MINNESOTA, -137 ELECTRIC ENERGY UPGRADES COMPLETED, -$714,571 ESTIMATED YEAR 1 ANNUAL COST SAVINGS DOCUMENTED, -4,204,449 ESTIMATED YEAR 1 ANNUAL KWH ENERGY SAVINGS DOCUMENTED-31 NATURAL GAS ENERGY UPGRADES COMPLETED-19,612 ESTIMATED YEAR 1 ANNUAL DEKATHERMS ENERGY SAVINGS DOCUMENTED-3,328,744 ESTIMATED YEAR 1 POUNDS OF WASTE DIVERTED FROM WASTE STREAM-$125,631 ESTIMATED YEAR 1 COST SAVINGS FOR WASTE DIVERSON
