REGIONAL CONFERENCE - AN ANNUAL MEETING THAT PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL FINANCIAL MEMBERS (ALUMNAE & UNDERGRADUATE) & AFFILIATES (PHILOS & RHOERS) TO LEARN ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE REGION, NETWORK, SOCIALIZE AND CELEBRATE OUR COLLECTIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS. MEMBERS HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO CELEBRATE THE REGIONS SUCCESSES, IMPACT THE COMMUNITY, AND GET INVOLVED IN THE SORORITYS BUSINESS. THE PLENARY SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS, AWARDS BANQUETS, AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS ARE SCHEDULED TO ENSURE EACH SOROR AND AFFILIATE ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND POISED TO LEAVE THE CONFERENCE INFORMED AND ENERGIZED. THE REGIONAL CONFERENCE ARE HELD IN THE SPRING (MARCH-MAY).
MEMBERSHIP GRANTS - THE REGION PROVIDES GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO MEMBERS TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATIONAL ASPIRATIONS. IN ADDITION, A PORTION OF EACH MEMBERS ASSESSMENTS IS EARMARKED FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE CHAPTER DEVELOPMENT FUND. THE MONEY WILL BE UTILIZED TO PROVIDE UNDERGRADUATE GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE COLLEGIATE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, ADVISOR DEVELOPMENT, AND CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS.
AREA MEETINGS - AREAS ARE NEIGHBORING CHAPTERS IN SINGLE STATES, A SECTION OF OR COMBINATION OF STATES. THESES AREAS COMBINE EFFORTS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS TO IMPLEMENT THE SORORITYS PROGRAMS, IDENTIFY THE SORORITYS AND LOCAL COMMUNITY NEEDS, AND DETERMINING SORORITYS EFFECTIVENESS IN MEETING THOSE NEEDS. THE MEETINGS ARE HELD IN THE FALL AND INCLUDE WORKSHOPS ON SORORITYS PROCEDURES.
