THE FORUM OF REGIONAL ARTS COUNCILS OF MINNESOTA IS A CONSORTIUM OF THE ELEVEN REGIONAL ARTS COUNCILS THAT SERVE ALL MINNESOTA COUNTIES, PROVIDING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL COUNCILS THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF BEST PRACTICES IN PROGRAMMING, MANAGEMENT, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND INFORMATION FOR MINNESOTA ARTISTS AND ORGANIZATIONS. THE FORUM PROVIDES A MEANS FOR REGIONAL ARTS COUNCILS TO WORK ON COMMON COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS THAT SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE STATEWIDE ARTS COMMUNITY, WORK ON COMMON ISSUES AND CONCERNS, PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR REGIONAL ARTS COUNCIL DIRECTORS TO NETWORK WITH THEIR STATEWIDE COUNTERPARTS AND TAKE PART IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES RELATED TO GRANT MAKING, LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT.

THE FORUM PROVIDED A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL 11 MINNESOTA REGIONAL ARTS COUNCILS TO PARTICIPATE IN A DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION LEARNING PROCESS. THE INITIATIVE INCLUDED PARTICIPATION IN PLANNING SESSIONS FOCUSED ON DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION AS IT RELATES TO FUNDING ARTS PROJECTS. SMALLER INITIATIVES AND TRAINING FOCUSED ON ANTI-BIAS AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY.
THE FORUM PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE THROUGH INFORMATION EXCHANGE, NETWORKING AND PLANNING OPPORTUNITIES, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL, TRAINING AND STATEWIDE PROJECTS THAT IMPACT THE ARTS COMMUNITY IN MINNESOTA. THE FORUM ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.
