Part 3 - Line 4a
AT THE BEGINNING OF 2022, CHATFIELD CENTER FOR THE ARTS, INC., FOUND ITSELF TEMPORARILY HOMELESS AS THE PHASE II RENOVATION OF THE 1916 SCHOOL BUILDING AND POTTER AUDITORIUM CONTINUED. NONETHELESS, CCA CONTINUED ITS MULTI-YEAR CAMPAIGN OF ARTS PROGRAMMING THAT STRENGTHENED THE LOCAL ARTS CULTURE, ATTRACTED REGIONAL PARTICIPATION, AND DEMONSTRATED THE ECONOMIC VALUE OF A VIBRANT ARTS COMMUNITY. WHILE CCA'S BUILDING WAS UNAVAILABLE, IT WORKED TO DRAW VISITORS TO OTHER INSTITUTIONS IN DOWNTOWN CHATFIELD. OFFSITE PROGRAMMING INCLUDED A STAGED READING, A JAZZ ORCHESTRA PERFORMANCE, FOLK CONCERTS, AND ART TOURS. ONCE THE BUILDING REOPENED, CCA WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE DIRECT SUPPORT SPACES FOR WESTERN DAYS MUSICAL PERFORMANCES AND A THREE STAGE EVENT FEATURING REGIONAL AND NATIONAL MUSICIANS.
