THE YOUTH PROGRAM GREW TO SERVE OVER 125 YOUNG PEOPLE. A YOUTH-GENERATED SAFETY SURVEY WAS COMPLETED BY 150 COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND A NEW EQUITY IN SAFETY PROGRAM WAS LAUNCHED BECAUSE OF THE SURVEYTHE EQUITY IN SAFETY PROGRAM WILL REIMBURSE COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND NONPROFITS UP TO $250 FOR SAFETY EQUIPMENT. WCNO WON A $30,000 GRANT TO PROVIDE UP TO A $7,500MATCH FOR EXTERIOR FACADES ON LOCAL BUSINESSES. A SUMMER BBQ DREW OVER 200 PEOPLE AND WILL BE AN ANNUAL EVENT. BOARD AND STAFF MEMBERS WENT THROUGH BOARD TRAINING AND STRATEGIC PLANNING RESULTING IN A NEW MISSION WITH SUPPORTING STRATEGIC PLAN.
