COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT HNA SUPPORTS COMMUNITY MEMBER LED COMMITTEE/WORK GROUPS INVOLVING OVER 500 PEOPLE A YEAR ADDRESSING NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT, NEIGHBORHOOD RELATIONS, PUBLIC SAFETY, FORECLOSURES/TENANT RIGHTS, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, RACIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT IS ALSO A PRIORITY BY SPONSORING FORMAL TRAININGS AND CONFERENCES OUTSIDE THE COMMUNITY. HNA SPONSORED 12 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT GATHERINGS INVOLVING OVER 150 ADULTS AND MANY CHILDREN. ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING INCLUDES WORK ON TRANSIT, EQUITY AND EVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE
