MOST OF THE LINKS PROVIDED IN THE COURSES LINKED TO CBE RESOURCES.OVER 500 JOURNALS AND OVER 100 BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED AT THE EVANGELICAL THEOLOGICAL SOCIETY'S ANNUAL MEETING IN NOVEMBER 2021. AND 130 JOURNALS WERE DISTRIBUTED AT THE NAZARENE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY CONFERENCE IN SEPTEMBER 2021.CBE'S NEWEST BOOK, CREATED TO THRIVE, WAS PUBLISHED IN NOVEMBER 2021 AND WE HAVE DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 800 COPIES.CBE AWARDED $6,000 ALVERA MICKELSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO THREE WOMEN. THE ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS HELP WOMEN PURSUING MASTER'S DEGREES IN MINISTRY FIELDS RELATED TO PREACHING, COMMUNICATIONS, WRITING, YOUTH MINISTRY, PASTORAL, OR NONPROFIT WORK. SEE WINNERS AND WATCH VIDEOS OF HOW THESE SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE BEEN A GAME-CHANGER FOR WOMEN STUDENTS AT CBE.TODAY/AMMSSTORIES.AN INTERNATIONAL TEAM OF BIBLE SCHOLARS ARE TRANSLATING 400+ BIBLE VERSES (NEARLY 70 DIFFERENT PASSAGES) TO IMPROVE FLAWED TRANSLATIONS THAT DEMEAN WOMEN AND FOSTER ABUSE. THEIR WORK WILL PROVIDE EXEGETICALLY-SOUND, GENDER-ACCURATE, AND ACCESSIBLE ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS, AS WELL AS COMMENTARY EXPLAINING THE TRANSLATORS' DECISIONS. CBE'S BIBLE TRANSLATION TEAM COMPLETED ITS INITIAL TRANSLATIONS THE SUMMER OF 2022. WHEN THE PROJECT IS FINISHED, CBE WILL PUBLISH THESE TRANSLATIONS IN A BOOK FOR ENGLISH BIBLE READERS AND BIBLE TRANSLATION TEAMS ALIKE. BY IMPROVING THE TRANSLATION OF THESE TEXTS, THE BOOK WILL REPRESENT WOMEN AS SCRIPTURE, IN THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES, INTENDED.CBE'S PODCAST, ELEARNING COURSES, AND RADIO SPOTS WERE LAUNCHED DURING FY2022 AND ARE STRATEGIC IN REACHING AND EDUCATING NEW AUDIENCES AND THE NEXT GENERATION. SINCE WE STARTED PRODUCING THE WEEKLY PODCAST EPISODES IN OCTOBER 2021, IT HAS BEEN DOWNLOADED 14,762 TIMES AND HAS REACHED 72 KNOWN COUNTRIES. FOUR ELEARNING COURSES ARE CURRENTLY IN DRAFT FORM. YOU CAN ACCESS THE FIRST COURSE, ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT WOMEN AND THE CHURCH, FOR FREE AT CBE.TODAY/ANSWERS. IN JANUARY 2022, WE STARTED RUNNING WEEKLY CHRISTIAN RADIO SPOTS ON WOMEN IN SCRIPTURE AND MISSIONS. WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH SALEM RADIO OUT OF ATLANTA. THEY HAVE BEEN PROVIDING FREE PROMOTIONS OF CBE'S WORK, INCLUDING STAFF INTERVIEWS AND RADIO ADS, TO GROW AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH OUR MISSION.
