SOUTHEASTERN MINNESOTA YOUTH ORCHESTRA CONTINUED TO PROVIDE STUDENT MUSICIANS IN GRADES 3-12 THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM IN ONE OF THREE ORCHESTRAS AND RECEIVE PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION ON INSTRUMENT TECHNIQUE AND MUSICIANSHIP WHILE LEARNING TO PLAY AS A COHESIVE ENSEMBLE. STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN SATURDAY MORNING REHEARSALS, COACHING SESSIONS, FORMAL CONCERTS, OUTREACH TOURS, AND TEAMWORK BUILDING ACTIVITIES.
