THE POLISH-AMERICAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE OF MINNESOTA, INC. (PACIM) IS A NON-PROFIT 501C(3) MINNESOTA-BASED ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS TO PROMOTE POLISH-AMERICAN CULTURE AND HERITAGE.

PROMOTING POLISH AND POLISH-AMERICAN TRADITIONS: CLASSES ON THE POLISH LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND FOOD, MOVIE NIGHTS, FESTIVAL OF NATIONS, WIGLIA, BAL KARNAWOLOWY AND OTHER EVENTS CELEBRATING POLISH TRADITIONS, FOOD AND CULUTRE. AN ESTIMATE OF 22 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN POLISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL CLASSES DURING 2021 AND THE ORGANIZED ALSO HOSTED MULTIPLE CULTURAL EVENTS SUCH AS THE WIGILIA CHRISTMAS DINNER AND SOUP FESTIVAL OPEN TO MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
PACIM PROVIDES GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH MULTIPLE FUNDS DIRECTED BY DONORS. THE ORGANIZATION APPROVED TWO SCHOLARSHIPS OF 2,000 THROUGH THE POLANIE AND ROG SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS DURING 2021. CRITERIA AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICABLE SCHOLARS CAN BE FOUND ONLINE VIA THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE. GRANTS ARE ALSO ALLOCATED TO ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING SOCIAL WELFARE BENEFITS TO POLISH ORPHANS. THE WALICKI FUND MAINTAINED BY PACIM IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNATED TO THE PROGRAM. PACIM DEFERRED GRANTS TO THIS INITIATIVE TO 2022. HOWEVER, PACIM ISSUED A 1,000 GRANT FROM OPERATIONAL FUNDS TO SACRED HEART CHURCH, WHICH BURNED IN THE SPRING IN MINNEAPOLIS.
POLISH AMERICAN NEWSLETTER - PROVIDED TO MEMBERS, LIBRARIES AND OTHER POLISH ORGANIZATIONS AND MUSEUMS TO EDUCATE AND PROMOTE INVOLVEMENT IN POLISH COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING. PACIM HAD A TOTAL OF 230 DUES PAYING MEMBERS IN 2021.
