COMMUNITY LENDING PROGRAM PROVIDING DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE AND HOME REPAIR LOANS TO LOW-TO-MODERATE-TO-MIDDLE INCOME FAMILIES (AS DEFINED BY HUD) WHO WOULD NOT LIKELY QUALIFY FOR THESE FUNDS FROM A TRADITIONAL LENDING INSTITUTION. IN FISCAL YEAR 2023, 295 DOWN PAYMENT LOANS WERE PROVIDED TOTALING $2,688,532 IN FUNDS. IN ADDITION, 105 HOME REPAIR LOANS WERE PROVIDED TOTALING $2,679,959 IN FUNDS.
HUD APPROVED COUNSELING AND EDUCATION SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO FAMILIES TO HELP THEM BUY OR KEEP WHAT IS LIKELY ONE OF THE BIGGEST PURCHASES IN THEIR LIVES - THEIR HOME. IN FY23, 619 FAMILIES RECEIVED THESE SERVICES.
