TO MAINTAIN THE CENTER FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE COMMUNITY AND TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH AND SENIORS ALIKE, AS WELL AS OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
GENERAL BUILDING EXPENSES PAID FOR UTILITIES, GENERAL OFFICE SUPPLIES, PROPERTY AND GENERAL INSURANCE AND BUILDING REPAIRS AND UPKEEP. THE IMPROVEMENTS AND CURRENT ASSETS ARE BEING DEPRECIATED.
AMOUNT PAID FOR SUPPLIES AND FOOD LICENSE TO SUPPORT THE COSTS FOR FOR THE MONTHLY MEETINGS, SPECIAL LUNCHES AND DINNERS AND ADDITIONAL PARTIES/ACTIVITIES THAT ARE PROVIDED FOR AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER.
THE ORGANIZATION TRAVELS AROUND IN THE COMMUNITY TO PREPARE FOR A NUMBER OF EVENTS HELD FOR THE COMMUNITY TO ENJOY AND PARTICIPATE IN. THERE IS CURRENTLY A WEBSITE NEWSLETTER THAT PROVIDES INFORMATION AS TO UPCOMING EVENTS, ETC. & THIS HAS BECOME A MORE POPULAR ITEM. EVENTS ARE HELD FOR YOUTH WHICH MAY INCLUDE HOLIDAY PARTIES. A NUMBER OF YOUTH FROM THE SURROUNDING AREA ATTEND MANY OF THESE FUNCTIONS. THIS YEARS ATTENDANCE FOR SOME OF THE SPECIAL EVENTS AND PARTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: HALLOWEEN PARTY ENTERTAINED 80 CHILDREN, CHRISTMAS PARTY INCLUDED 30 CHILDREN AND THE ORGANIZATION'S EASTER PARTY ENTERTAINED 57 CHILDREN.
