WORK ACTIVITY AND TRAINING: THE PROGRAM HAS THREE THRIFT STORES AS PRIMARY JOB SOURCES FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED AND MENTALLY ILL ADULTS. THIS HELPS GIVE THEM A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT AND GIVES THEM INTERACTION WITH OTHER PEOPLE, THUS INCREASING THEIR MORALE.
JOB COACHING: HCDAC EMPLOYMENT SERVICES HELP INDIVIDUALS FIND COMMUNITY BASED EMPLOYMENT RELATED TO THEIR SKILLS, INTERESTS AND JOB GOALS. SERVICES INCLUDE EMPLOYMENT EXPLORATION AND ANY TRAINING NECESSARY TO FIND AND KEEP EMPLOYMENT. JOB COACHING IS AVAILABLE FOR EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS.
DEVELOPMENT ACHIEVEMENT SERVICES: DAY TRAINING AND HABILITATION SERVICES FOR ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND MENTAL ILLNESS. THIS SERVICE INCLUDES WORK ACTIVITY, ACADEMIC TRAINING, THERAPY AND RECREATIION.
