RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - DAKOTABILITIES PROVIDES SECURE, DEPENDABLE HOUSING TO APPROXIMATELY 127 PEOPLE WITH A RANGE OF DISABILITIES SO THAT PEOPLE SUPPORTED CAN FOCUS ON LIVING THEIR BEST LIVES. RESIDENTIAL OPTIONS INCLUDE RESIDENTIAL HOMES, A RESIDENTIAL HOME WITH 24-HOUR NURSING SERVICES, APARTMENT LIVING, AND IN-HOME CARE. SERVICES OFFERED AT RESIDENTIAL LOCATIONS INCLUDE TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE WITH ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING TASKS, INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS, COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, ACTIVITY PLANNING, AND MEDICAL SERVICES. SUPPORT IS PROVIDED TO EACH PERSON AT THE LEVEL THEY NEED AND CHOOSE, FOCUSING ON EMPOWERING EACH PERSON TO BE AS INDEPENDENT AS POSSIBLE, WHILE MAKING CHOICES IN ALL AREAS OF THEIR LIVES.

REVIEWS AND REAUTHORIZATIONS ARE CONDUCTED ANNUALLY. *IN JUNE 2022, DAKOTABILITIES WAS REVIEWED BY THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA UNDER ITS ARSD (ADMINISTRATIVE RULES OF SOUTH DAKOTA) PROCESS AND RECEIVED A 2-YEAR ACCREDITATION.
DAY SERVICES - DAKOTABILITIES PROVIDES DAY SERVICES TO APPROXIMATELY 135 PEOPLE WITH A RANGE OF DISABILITIES. EVERY PERSON IS UNIQUE, SO WE OFFER DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES FOR EVERY PERSON SUPPORTED BASED ON THEIR PERSONALITY, INTERESTS, GOALS, AND ABILITY. DAKOTABILITIES OFFERS DIFFERENT TYPES OF ACTIVITIES FOR PEOPLE SUPPORTED, WHICH INCLUDES COMMUNITY-BASED RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES ON AND OFF-SITE, VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, AND JOBS IN THE COMMUNITY BEST SUITED FOR THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS AND ABILITIES. PEOPLE SUPPORTED HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO FIND THE THINGS THAT MEAN THE MOST TO THEM AND TO GROW BY PARTICIPATION IN THOSE MEANINGFUL, PURPOSEFUL ACTIVITIES.
