THAT EQUATED TO 2,130 TOTAL VOLUNTEER HOURS.

THE TRUST CHORE PROGRAM PROVIDES HOME SERVICES TO SENIORS AND THOSE LIVING WITH A DISABILITY AT A LOWER COST RATE. OVERSEEN BY PROGRAM COORDINATOR, 11 CHORE WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE HOUSE CLEANING, SNOW REMOVAL, YARDWORK, AND MINOR HOME REPAIRS. THE YEAR 2022, WAS ONE OF RENEWED SERVICES FOR OUR AGENCY AS THE WORLD BEGAN TO EMERGE INTO COMMUNITY SPACE AT THIS POINT IN THE PANDEMIC. MANY OF OUR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS MOBILITY CHANGED DURING PANDEMIC, REQUIRING THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES TO HELP THEM MAINTAIN INDEPENDENT LIVING. WITH THE INCREASE OF SERVICE AREA AS DIRECTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO INCLUDE ALL OF SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS FROM FRANKLIN AVENUE SOUTHWARD, AND THE INCREASE OF AGING ADULTS, OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES CONTINUES TO EXPAND REQUIRING ADDITIONAL STAFF HOURS, CONTRACT WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS.
