TWO FIELD REPRESENTATIVES COLLECTED MILK WEIGHTS AND MILK SAMPLES FROM EACH OF 10,803 COWS, IN 39 MEMBERS'S HERDS, MOSTLY ON A MONTHLY INTER- VAL. EACH MILK SAMPLE WAS ANALYZED FOR BUTTERFAT AND PROTEIN CONTENT, SOMATIC CELL COUNTS, PREGNANCY VERIFICATION, AND MASTITIS SPECIES ID AS MEMBERS REQUESTED. THE COMPILED DATA WAS PRESENTED TO UNIVERSITIES FOR RESEARCH AND SIRE PROVING PURPOSES. BOTH USES OF THE INFORMATION BENIFIT DAIRY PRODUCERS WORLDWIDE. THE 39 WINONA CO. DHIA MEMBERS USED THE RECORD INFORMATION TO PRODUCE AN AVERAGE OF 24,597 POUNDS OF MILK, 1,012 POUNDS OF BUTTERFAT, AND 785 POUNDS OF MILK PROTEIN PER COW DURING 2022.
