CONSUMER INFORMATION AND PROMOTION - TO INFORM AND EDUCATE CONSUMERS TO THE FACT THAT PORK IS A HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS COMPONENT IN THE DIET OF TODAY'S ACTIVE PUBLIC.


PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY/EDUCATION - TO DEVELOP NEW TECHNOLOGY WHICH ENHANCES PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCT QUALITY AND TO EXPAND USES OF EXISTING PORK PRODUCTS AND CREATE NEW PRODUCT OPPORTUNITIES AND TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MATERIALS TO PRODUCERS REGARDING SWINE PRODUCTION, ANIMAL HANDLING AND OTHER RELEVANT AND ACCURATE INFORMATION TO THE SWINE INDUSTRY.
