DAIRY STRONG IS THE PLACE WHERE ALL ASPECTS OF DAIRY COME TOGETHER TO COALESCE AROUND A SHARED COMMITMENT TO WHAT'S IMPORTANT TODAY AND TOMORROW.
THE FARM COMMUNITY LEARNS WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE STATE AND FEDERAL LEVELS RELATING TO DAIRY FARMING AND HOW IT COULD AFFECT THEM. AS AN ORGANIZATION, WE REPRESENT AND ADVOCATE FOR OUR MEMBERS' INTEREST IN THE POLICY AND LAWMAKING PROCESS AT LOCAL AND STATE LEVELS. OUR SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM GOAL IS TO PROVIDE FOR THE MOST ADVANTAGEOUS POLICIES THROUGH ORDINANCES AND ZONING AT THE LOCAL LEVEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE RULES AND STATUES AT THE STATE LEVEL FOR OUR MEMBERS TO STRIVE. ENSURING MEMBERS HAVE THE GENERAL SUPPORT IN ANY PROJECTS, EVENTS OR INITIATIVES THEY MAY BE ATTEMPTING OR CARRYING OUT TO FURTHER THEIR FARM OR BUSINESS INTEREST.
THE GOAL OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO BRING TOGETHER ALL STAKEHOLDERS OF THE DAIRY AND AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITIES TO WORK TOWARDS COMMON GOALS AND OVERALL BENEFIT OF DAIRY AND AGRICULTURE. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THIS PROGRAM ASSISTS MEMBERS AND OTHER FARMERS TO IMPROVE ON-FARM OR IN-BUSINESS PRACTICES TO ENSURE DAIRY AND AGRICULTURE'S LONGEVITY AS A SAFE, RELIABLE AND SUSTAINABLE FOOD SOURCE FOR YEARS TO COME.
ASSIST MEMBERS WITH SOCIAL MEDIA, MEDIA RELATIONS AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS SO THAT THEY ARE PUBLICLY REFLECTED IN A POSITIVE FASHION. THE SHORT-TERM GOAL IS FOR EACH PUBLICLY FACING OUTPUT TO BE ACCURATE, FAIR, AND REPRESENTATIVE OF THE NATURE OF THE TOPIC AT HAND. THE LONG-TERM GOAL IS TO REPRESENT OUR MEMBERS AND THE DAIRY COMMUNITY IN A POSITIVE FASHION.
