FERMENTATION FEST: A TEN DAY ANNUAL FESTIVAL AND COUNTRY TOUR THAT LINKS THE AGRICULTURE AND THE ARTS. OVER 18,000 PEOPLE ATETENDED, 46 CLASSES WERE CONDUCTED, OVER 40 LOCAL BUSINESSES BENEFITTED, 5 SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS WERE INVOLVED, AND ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS PARTICIPATED.
TEST PLOTS
ROADSIDE CULTURE STAND: ARTISTS PARTNERED WITH LOCAL FARMERS OR PROCESSORS TO DEVELOP AND BUILD A SERIES OF MOBILE FARM FOOD STANDS. A TOTAL OF 7 WERE USED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL FARMERS AND SMALL BUSINESSES. SOME STANDS WERE USED WEEKLY IN REGULAR MARKET APPEARANCES AND ALL APPEARED AT VARIOUS SPECIAL EVENTS AND WERE VISITED BY OVER 30,000 PEOPLE.
