THESE AWARDS ARE USED TO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH BASIC NEEDS AND ACCESS TO PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT ARE OUT OF REACH FOR THEIR FAMILIES. EACH RECIPIENT IS ACHIEVING ACADEMICALLY BUT ALSO ARE MAKING SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THEIR FAMILY, SCHOOL OR COMMUNITY DESPITE POVERTY, DISABILITY, OR PERSONAL HARDSHIP.
