WPSA SUCCESSFULLY HAD 3 CONFERENCES IN 2022-2023 WITH 311 ATTENDEES, TRAINED ANOTHER 54 TRAIN THE TRAINERS WITH THE DCCI TRAINING, TRAINED ANOTHER 25 TRAIN THE TRAINERS WITH DCCII TRAINING, AND HOSTED 6 NEW LUNCH N' LEARN SESSIONS WITH 334 ATTENDEES. WPSA ALSO CONTINUES TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH DHS IN THE THIRD PARTY ASSESSMENT WITH EVV, HAS BEEN APPROACHED BY MULTIPLE NEWSPAPERS FOR ARTICLES ON WORKFORCE CRISIS AND THE INCREASE IN MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT, AND HAS REPRESENTATION ON THE IRIS ADVISORY COMMITTEE, DHS EVV HHCB COMMITTEE, AND THE GOVERNOR'S TASK FORCE ON CAREGIVING. WPSA WILL CONTINUE TO WORK CLOSELY WITH DHS AND LEGISLATORS IN ADVOCATING FOR PERSONAL CARE AGENCIES AND THEIR WORKERS.
