DANENET'S DIGITAL EQUITY PROJECT LEVERAGED EXISTING PARTNERSHIPS WITH DANE COUNTY NONPROFIT AGENCIES TO IDENTIFY LOW-INCOME SENIORS, ADULTS, AND FAMILIES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DIGITAL DIVIDE. WE OFFERED MORE THAN A DOZEN BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS CLASSES (IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH), DISTRIBUTED OVER 100 REFURBISHED DONATED LAPTOPS, HELD FREE TECH REPAIR CLINICS IN MADISON PUBLIC LIBRARY, AND PROVIDED LOW-INCOME FAMILIES WITH ASSISTANCE IDENTIFYING AFFORDABLE INTERNET PLANS AND APPLYING FOR BROADBAND AID PROGRAMS.
