REGARDING NATURAL RESOURCES EDUCATION: MANY PROGRAMS WERE CONDUCTED, BOTH ON SITE AND OFF SITE ENCOMPASSING MANY TOPICS SURROUNDING CONSERVATION, NATURAL RESOURCES AND SUSTAINABLE FORESTRY.
REGARDING LAND CONSERVATION & LAND PROTECTION: 2021 WAS A CONTINUATION OF SENO K/R LT CONSERVANCY'S THREE YEAR CONCERTED EFFORT TO BECOME AN ACCREDITED LAND TRUST. THIS INVOLVES ANNUALLY MONITORING ALL CONSERVATION EASEMENTS AND EDUCATING LANDOWNERS ON HOW TO MANAGE THEIR CONSERVED SPACES. IT ALSO INCLUDES COMPLIANCE WITH THE MANY POLICIES OF THE LAND TRUST ALLIANCE STANDARDS AND PRACTICES, AS WELL AS ONGOING CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PROPERTIES WE OWN.
