INTERPRETIVE TOURS OF THE FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT HISTORIC SITE ON WEST BURNHAM STREET, MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN KNOWN AS THE BURNHAM BLOCK. THE SITE CONSISTS OF SIX WRIGHT DESIGNED HOMES THAT ARE LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES. THE HOMES ARE PART OF A SERIES KNOWN AS THE AMERICAN SYSTEM-BUILT HOMES. THEY REPRESENT WRIGHT'S BROAD APPROACH TO SHELTER ALL AMERICANS IN A BEAUTIFUL HOME. THE SITE WELCOMES APPROXIMATELY 5,000 GUESTS ANNUALLY INCLUDING GROUP AND SCHOOL TOURS. TWO OF THE HOMES HAVE BEEN FULLY RESTORED. OUR PLAN IS TO COMPLETE THE RESTORATION OF ALL SIX BUILDINGS.
