GPSED CONTINUES TO PROVIDE A TRANSFORMATIONAL ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION AND YOUTH APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM THROUGH OUR 7 EDUCATION CENTERS LOCATED THROUGHOUT SOUTHEAST AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN. WITH AN AVERAGE ANNUAL ENROLLMENT OF 200 STUDENTS, THIS IMMERSIVE PROGRAM ALLOWS STUDENTS TO EARN THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA FROM THEIR HOME HIGH SCHOOL WHILE ALSO EARNING STACKABLE AND TRANSFERABLE CREDENTIALS ALIGNED TO TECHNICAL CAREER PATHWAYS. THE CLASS OF 2023 BOASTS A 95% GRADUATION RATE WITH 95% EARNING THEIR NATIONAL CAREER READINESS CERTIFICATION, 87% EARNING THE FULL CERTIFIED PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (CPT) CERTIFICATE FROM THE MANUFACTURING SKILL STANDARDS COUNCIL (MSSC), AND 48% HIRED ON FULL TIME AT A GPS ED BUSINESS PARTNER. MANY GRADUATES WHO PLAN TO GO ON TO POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION ALSO EARN COLLEGE CREDITS. IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT THE MAJORITY OF OUR STUDENTS HAD TO OVERCOME SEVERE ACADEMIC DEFICIENCIES AND GAINED VALUABLE SOFT-SKILLS THAT ARE NEEDED TO SECURE GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO ADD TO THE PORTFOLIO OF SCHOOL AND BUSINESS PARTNERS WHICH PROVIDES EVEN MORE CAREER PATHWAYS TO MORE STUDENTS. IN ADDITION, GPSED, AS A WORK-BASED LEARNING (WBL) INTERMEDIARY, PROVIDES SPECIFIC PROGRAMMING THAT WORKS WITH SPECIFIC CLIENTS TO PROVIDE CUSTOMIZED WORK-BASED LEARNING SOLUTIONS; WHEREBY GPSED FUNCTIONS AS A WORK-BASED LEARNING INTERMEDIARY PARTNER. THROUGH THIS ROLE, GPSED CAN LEVERAGE ITS EXPERIENCE, RESOURCES, AND BEST PRACTICES TO CONSULT, CONVENE, PILOT, EXECUTE AND SUPPORT WBL PROGRAMMING THAT MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE THREE DISTINCT CLIENT GROUPS: SCHOOL OR SCHOOL GROUP; EMPLOYER OR EMPLOYER ASSOCIATION; OR A COMMUNITY OR COLLECTION OF REGIONAL ENTITIES SEEKING TO BUILD SYSTEMS TO ENGAGE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN CAREER FOCUSED, HIGH QUALITY WORK-BASED LEARNING PROGRAMMING. EACH CLIENT SOLUTION IS UNIQUE TO THE NEEDS OF THE CLIENT GROUP, AND IS UNIQUELY POSITIONED/BRANDED TO REFLECT THE CLIENT'S ROLE LED BY GPSED PARTNERSHIP.
