IN FY22, COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DELIVERED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO BOARD, MANAGEMENT, OR STAFF OF OVER 100 COOPERATIVE BUSINESSES IN MULTIPLE CO-OP SECTORS, INCLUDING ON-GOING EXPANSION OF A NEW EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR THE SENIOR CO-OP HOUSING SECTOR THAT SERVED OVER 60 CO-OPS FROM MULTIPLE STATES. WE PROVIDED GUIDANCE AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON THE CO-OP DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY TO TWELVE UNIQUE STARTUPS, INCLUDING SUPPORTING THE INCORPORATION OF TWO NEW COOPERATIVE ENTERPRISES. WE AIDED 8 NON-COOPERATIVELY OWNED LOCAL FOODS ENTERPRISES THROUGH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. GRANT WRITING SERVICES RESULTED IN THE AWARD OF $325,000 IN STATE GRANT FUNDING TO CLIENTS.
