PEER-TO-PEER AND FAMILY-TO-FAMILY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS PROVIDE THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO ASSIST AND SUPPORT THE RECOVERY PROCESS. 2. SUPPORT. PEER SUPPORT AND FAMILY SUPPORT GROUPS FURTHER THE RECOVERY OF COUNTLESS PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY. 3. ADVOCACY. NAMI'S "IN OUR OWN VOICE" PROGRAM IS JUST ONE METHOD OF ADVOCACY IN THE COMMUNITY THAT CHANGES ATTITUDES, ASSUMPTIONS, AND STEREOTYPES ABOUT PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.
