THE FAMILY AND CONSUMER GRANT INCLUDES SEVERAL TRAININGS IN NAMI PROGRAMS INCLUDING: FAMILY CLASSES: 8 WEEK NAMI FAMILY TO FAMILY, NAMI BASICS, PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE PEER CLASSES: 8 WEEK NAMI PEER TO PEER SUPPORT GROUPS: NAMI FRMILY SUPPORT GROUP, NAMI WISCONSIN PEER SUPPORT GROUP, NAMI CONNECTIONS PRESENTATIONS: NAMI IN OUR OWN VOICE, NAMI ENDING THE SILENCE, NAMI WI MENTAL HEALTH CHAT, NAMI FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THESE GRANT FUNDS ALSO SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE, AWARENESS EVENTS INCLUDING MENTAL ILLNESS AWARENESS MONTH, MENTAL ILLNESS AWARENESS WEEK, MINORITY AWARENESS MONTH AND SUICIDE AWARENESS MONTH.
