THE TENANT RESOURCE CENTER IS DEDICATED TO ACHIEVING HOUSING JUSTICE IN WISCONSIN, AND TO PROMOTING POSITIVE RELATIONS BETWEEN RENTAL HOUSING CONSUMERS AND PROVIDERS THROUGHOUT WISCONSIN. BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND EDUCATION ABOUT RENTAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WE EMPOWER THE COMMUNITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN QUALITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING.

TENANT SERVICES-ASSISTS PERSONS IN ASSERTING THEIR RIGHTS IN RENTAL RELATIONSHIPS BY PROVIDING LEGAL INFORMATION, COUNSELING, AND REFERRALS, AND PROVIDES EDUCATION AND INFORMATION SERVICES TO LANDLORDS AND TENANTS ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN RENTAL PROPERTIES. THE HOUSING HELP DESK PROVIDES TENANTS, LANDLORDS, AND AGENCY STAFF WITH INFORMATION AND APPLICATIONS FOR LOW-COST HOUSING, PUBLIC AND SUBSIDIZED HOUSING, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, AND SHELTER SERVICES. THE HELP DESK CAN ALSO MAKE REFERRALS TO USEFUL COMMUNITY RESOURCES INCLUDING LIMITED ASSISTANCE FOR EVICTION PREVENTION, SECURITY DEPOSITS, AND UTILITIES.
HOMELESS SERVICES-PROVIDES RESOURCES TO PERSONS IN THE MADISON AREA WHO ARE HOMELESS OR WHO ARE RECOVERING FROM HOMELESSNESS. ASSISTS THESE INDIVIDUALS WITH SEEKING HOUSING, APPLYING FOR EMPLOYMENT, AND OBTAINING SOCIAL SERVICES.
