IT FOSTERS AND PROTECTS THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM TO ADVANCE THE BUSINESS AND EDUCATION INTERESTS OF THE STATE OF WISCONSIN.

WMC'S GOVERNMENT RELATIONS TEAM OF LOBBYISTS ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF OUR MEMBERS TO THE LEGISLATIVE, EXECUTIVE, AND JUDICIAL BRANCHES OF WISCONSIN GOVERNMENT. WMC PROMOTES PASSAGE OF THE WMC PUBLIC POLICY AGENDA ESTABLISHED BY THE WMC'S GOVERNING BODY AND ADVOCATES ON OTHER POLICIES THAT COULD HAVE A POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE IMPACT ON WISCONSIN'S ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS, LEGAL CLIMATE, OR JUDICIAL SYSTEM. OUR GOVERNMENT RELATIONS PROGRAM ALSO CONDUCTS RESEARCH IN SUPPORT OF OUR POLICY AGENDA AND COMMUNICATES WITH POLICYMAKERS, THE MEDIA, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT MAKING WISCONSIN THE MOST COMPETITIVE STATE IN THE NATION.
WMC'S MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO RETAINING EXISTING MEMBERS AND RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS IN SUPPORT OF THE WMC PUBLIC POLICY AGENDA AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. WMC'S MEMBERSHIP DEPARTMENT ASSISTS OUR MEMBERS IN UNDERSTANDING GRASSROOTS STRATEGIES TO ADVANCE THE BUSINESS AGENDA AND HELPS COMMUNICATE HOW WMC'S ADVOCACY CREATES VALUE FOR OUR MEMBER BUSINESSES.
WISCONSIN SAFETY COUNCIL (WSC) IS THE STATE'S LEADING PROVIDER OF SAFETY TRAINING AND PRODUCTS, SERVING MEMBERS OF ALL SIZES AND EVERY SECTOR OF THE ECONOMY. WSC PROVIDES SCHEDULED TRAINING PROGRAMS ACROSS WISCONSIN IN ADDITION TO PRIVATE, CUSTOMIZED TRAINING FOR INDIVIDUAL COMPANIES. IT IS ALSO THE NUMBER ONE RESOURCE FOR SAFETY PRODUCTS RANGING FROM FIRST AID TRAINING MATERIALS TO EMERGENCY DEFIBRILLATORS. WSC IS THE OFFICIAL STATE CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL AND IS A PROUD PROGRAM OF WISCONSIN MANUFACTURERS & COMMERCE (WMC).
WMC EVENTS - WMC HOSTS SEVERAL INFORMATIONAL SEMINARS AND EVENTS INCLUDING BUSINESS DAY AND A GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS CONFERENCE, EACH OF WHICH DEAL WITH A VARIETY OF TOPICS INCLUDING HEALTH CARE, ENVIRONMENT, ENERGY, TRANSPORTATION, TAXES, HUMAN RESOURCES, LEGAL REFORM, SMALL BUSINESS, AND OTHER ISSUES OF INTEREST TO THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY.CHAMBER/ WCCE - WMC IS THE STATE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND WISCONSIN IS HOME TO MORE THAN 265 LOCAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE. WISCONSIN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXECUTIVES (WCCE) IS A PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE IN WISCONSIN. WCCE ADVANCES THE MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF ITS MEMBERS TO HELP THEM ADVANCE THEIR CAREERS.WMC DIGITAL PUBLICATIONS - PREVIOUSLY UNDER THE DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS VOICE, WMC'S DIGITAL PUBLICATIONS PROVIDE MEMBERS WITH BUSINESS-FOCUSED UPDATES.
