THE YMCA OF DODGE COUNTY IS A CHARITABLE ASSOCIATION FOUNDED ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES, OPEN TO ALL, AND DEDICATED TO BUILDING A HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND, AND BODY THROUGH DIVERSIFIED PROGRAMMING.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS - PROVIDES THE USE OF THE FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT AND ALSO REDUCED RATE ADMISSIONS/FEES TO EVENTS AND PROGRAMS PRESENTED BY THE YMCA. OTHER PROGRAMMING INCLUDES CLASSES FOR ALL AGES, SKILL LEVELS, AND INTERESTS. CLASSES INCLUDE LOW-IMPACT EXERCISE, CHAIR CLASSES, STRETCHING AND STRENGTH TRAINING TO INDOOR CYCLING, HIIT, AND YOGA. OUTREACH PROGRAMS INCLUDE PARTNERSHIPS WITH A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, GROUPS, AND BUSINESSES TO OFFER FREE BEGINNING SWIM SKILLS PROGRAMS, YOUTH AND ADULT PROGRAMMING, AND SENIOR ACTIVITIES.
AQUATIC - THE YMCA HAS ALSO DEVELOPED COLLABORATIONS IN NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES TO EXTEND THE AQUATIC SERVICES TO THOSE COMMUNITIES DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AT THE LOCAL FACILITY. DURING THE PAST YEAR THE COMMUNITIES OF FOX LAKE, HORICON, LOMIRA, AND WAUPUN WERE SERVED.
SCHOOL AGE - SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMMING INCLUDES DAILY CHILD CARE, BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CHILD CARE, SCHOOL'S DAY OUT FUN CLUB, 4 YEAR OLD KINDERGARTEN AND DROP IN CHILD WATCH. BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE (SACC) IS AVAILABLE AT BEAVER DAM SITES INCLUDING JEFFERSON, LINCOLN, PRAIRIE VIEW, HORICON, WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, AND AT DODGELAND ELEMENTARY. SACC PROGRAMS ARE STAFFED WITH INDIVIDUALS WHO UNDERSTAND COGNITIVE, PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF KIDS, AND ALSO THE NEED CHILDREN HAVE TO FEEL CONNECTED AND SUPPORTED IN TRYING NEW THINGS, AND THE CARING AND REINFORCEMENT PARENTS AND FAMILIES NEED TO HELP EACH OTHER. THE SACC PROGRAMS SERVE 4K THROUGH 5TH GRADERS WITH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITY OPTIONS TO EXPLORE AND DEVELOP THEIR INTERESTS AND TALENTS. BREAKFAST IS AVAILABLE FOR AM PARTICIPANTS AND AFTER SCHOOL SNACK OFFERED FOR PM PARTICIPANTS. CAMP OKWAANIM: A SUMMER DAY CAMP THAT FOSTERS A SENSE OF TEAMWORK AND ADVENTURE THROUGH OUTDOOR GAMES AND ACTIVITIES, AND DAILY SWIMMING TO DEVELOP WATER SAFETY SKILLS AND TO HAVE FUN.
