HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAMS - SPORTS AND RECREATION: THROUGH A VARIETY OF SPORTS RELATED ACTIVITIES, YOUTH & ADULTS ARE OFFERED OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP SKILLS IN BOTH COMPETITIVE & NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS, BUT AT THE HEART OF WHAT'S LEARNED IS "MORE THAN THE SKILLS". THE YMCA'S DEEPER OBJECTIVE IS TEACHING VALUES; IT'S THE RESPECT, HONEST, CARING AND RESPONSIBILITY THAT THE YMCA WORKS TO INSTILL IN PARTICIPANTS.HEALTH ENHANCEMENT: COMPREHENSIVE & DIVERSE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR ADULTS & YOUTH WITH THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE BEING TO DEVELOP & MAINTAIN THE WELL-BEING OF PARTICIPANTS BY IMPROVING THEIR HEALTH & PHYSICAL WELLNESS THROUGH GOOD EXCERCISE & HEALTH EDUCATION.
