THE DALLAS URBAN DEBATE ALLIANCE IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EVERY DALLAS ISD STUDENT THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN RIGOROUS ACADEMIC POLICY DEBATE. EVERY STUDENT DESERVES THE CHANCE TO BECOME AN ARTICULATE AND INFORMED LEADER IN HIS OR HER SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY.

THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DALLAS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, DUDA PROGRAMS INCLUDE WORKSHOPS, SRIMMAGES, TOURNAMENTS, AND MENTORSHIPS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLS (400 STUDENTS) AND HIGH SCHOOLS (300 STUDENTS). THROUGH DEBATE, STUDENTS LEARN TO THINK CRITICALLY, CONDUCT RESEARCH AND GAIN CONFIDENCE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING.
PROVIDING ADVOCACY AND EVALUATION TO DALLAS ISD STUDENTS. PROVIDED A ONE-WEEK SUMMER RESIDENTIAL INSTITUTE/CAMP FOR 60 DALLAS ISD STUDENTS HOUSED ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS.
TRAINING SEMINARS FOR DALLAS ISD STUDENTS. SERVED OVER 500 MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WHILE TEACHING THEM TO CRITICALLY THINK, COMMUNICATE, AND RESEARCH. WORKED WITH OVER 500 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HELPING THEM REFINE THEIR 21ST CENTURY SCHOOLS IN PREPARATION FOR THEIR POSTSECONDARY CAREERS.
