TO BE THE GUIDING FORCE TO ENSURE THE WELL-BEING OF EVERY DOG AND CAT IN MUSKEGON COUNTY. POUND BUDDIES IS UNDER CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF MUSKEGON TO OPERATE THE LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER AND CARRY OUT ANIMAL CONTROL DUTIES FOR THE COMMUNITY IN CONJUNCTION WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT.

OUR TOTAL INTAKE FOR 2021 WAS 1,212 DOGS AND 56 CATS. OUR "LIVE RELEASE" NUMBER (WHICH INCLUDES ADOPTIONS, TRANSFERS TO OTHER SHELTERS OR ANIMALS RETURNED TO THEIR OWNERS) WAS FOR 85% FOR DOGS AND 56% FOR CATS.
