COMMUNITY LIVING SERVICES - UPON AUTHORIZATION FROM COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH (CMH) OR THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING (AAA) IN THE 12 COUNTIES SERVED BY RLLS' STAFF, CONSUMERS WERE PROVIDED IN-HOME AND IN-COMMUNITY DAILY LIVING SUPPORTS FOR ALL ASPECTS OF CLIENTS' LIVES. THIS INCLUDED DAILY CHORES AND ROUTINES, BATHING, GROOMING, DRESSING, TRANSFERRING, MEDICATION, HOUSEWORK, LAUNDRY, MEAL PREPARATION, CLINICAL PROGRAMS, TOILETING, EATING, COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, SKILL BUILDING (SUCH AS SOCIALIZATION, BEHAVIORAL TASKS, DAILY LIVING TASKS, HEALTH AND SAFETY, COMMUNITY INCLUSION, ETC.), MEDICAL NEEDS INCLUDING TRANSPORT TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL APPOINTMENTS, ASSISTANCE WITH DAILY MEDICAL CARE, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, BUDGETING, SHOPPING, ORGANIZING, TRANSPORTATION, AND GENERAL SUPERVISION. HOME HELP SERVICES - THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES (DHHS) PROVIDES HOME HELP FUNDING TO PROVIDE CLIENTS A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF HOURS MONTHLY, ASSISTING FUNCTIONALLY CHALLENGED INDIVIDUALS IN COMPLETING IN-HOME TASKS AND CHORES INCLUDING BATHING, GROOMING, DRESSING, TRANSFERRING, MEDICATION, HOUSEWORK, LAUNDRY, MEAL PREPARATION, RANGE OF MOTION, TOILETING, AND EATING. PRIVATE PAY SERVICES - IN-HOME AND IN-COMMUNITY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO PRIVATE PAY INDIVIDUALS FROM A FEW TO 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE HOUSEKEEPING, MEALS, GROCERY SHOPPING, PERSONAL CARE, MEDICATION REMINDERS, APPOINTMENTS, ERRANDS, OTHER TASKS, CHORES, AND ASSISTANCE AS REQUESTED.
