RURAL WISCONSIN HEALTH COOPERATIVE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NETWORK ("RWHC ITN") PROVIDES A SHARED ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD SYSTEM TO FIVE TAX-EXEMPT RURAL HOSPITALS LOCATED IN WISCONSIN, WITH THE GOAL OF PROMOTING HIGH QUALITY, COST EFFECTIVE HEALTHCARE. ADDITIONALLY, RWHC ITN PROVIDES A SHARED PACS (DIGITAL IMAGING) ENVIRONMENT TO TWO OF THE FIVE CORE EHR USERS AND TWO OTHER TAX-EXEMPT HOSPITALS. RWHC ITN ALSO HOSTS AN ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SYSTEM (ERP) FOR FIVE TAX-EXEMPT RURAL HOSPITALS. RWHC ITN IS ALSO THE CONSORTIUM LEADER OF A HEALTHCARE CONNECT FUND (HCF) CONSORTIUM. IN THIS ROLE, IT FACILITATES BROADBAND IMPLEMENTATIONS FOR FOURTEEN WISCONSIN TAX-EXEMPT HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS.
