THE ORGANIZATION BUILDS OR SUBSTANTIALLY REHABILITATES LOW COST DWELLINGS, WHICH ARE THEN CONVEYED THROUGH MORTGAGES ON A NON-PROFIT, BELOW MARKET INTEREST BASIS TO FAMILIES OR INDIVIDUALS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE PURCHASE SUCH HOMES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES ON BEHALF OF DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO OBTAIN AFFORDABLE HOUSING.THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS TWO RESALE STORES WHERE THE GENERAL PUBLIC CAN PURCHASE SUPPLIES AT A LOW COST SO THEY MAY MAINTAIN AND REPAIR THEIR HOMES.
