GOALS: ENHANCE THE VITALITY OF THE AUBURN HILLS BUSINESS COMMUNITY THROUGH HIGH QUALITY PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT EMBRACE THE VALUES OF A DIVERSE MEMBERSHIP. TO SERVE AS THE VOICE OF BUSINESS, REPRESENTING OUR MEMBER'S INTERESTS AMONG KEY, STRATEGIC AUDIENCES. TO WORK AS A LIAISON BETWEEN THE VARIOUS SECTORS OF OUR COMMUNITY.

TASTE ON THE GO - PROMOTING 20+ LOCAL RESTAURANTS. MEMBERS WHO ORDER TAKEOUT FROM THOSE RESTAURANTS DURING THE PANDEMIC FOR TWO WEEKS IN NOVEMBER REGISTERED FOR A CONTEST TO GENERATE A BUZZ OFFERING A CASH PRIZE OF 500 (COVERED BY SPONSOR FUNDING) AND A HOSTED PARTY AT A MEMBERS LOCATION (DONATED BY THE MEMBER) WHEN ABLE TO REOPEN. THIS EVENT SERVES AS A MAJOR FUNDRAISER FOR THE AUBURN HILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EACH YEAR AND THIS YEAR SPONSORS WERE SUPPORTIVE MAINTAINING THEIR SPONSORSHIP EVEN WITH THE CHANGE IN FORMAT DUE TO COVID.

SILVER AND GOLD AWARDS - RECOGNIZING HUNDREDS OF LOCAL BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS, THIS EVENT SPONSORED BY MEMBERS SHOWCASES THEIR BRAND AND COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITY. NOMINATIONS ARE ACCEPTED FOR NAMED AWARDS MATCHING SPECIFIC CRITERIA. A COMMITTEE CHOOSES THE WINNER OF EACH AWARD AMONG THE NOMINEES. THE WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED DURING THE EVENT.
