RESIDENTIAL SERVICES. BETWEEN JULY 1, 2021 AND JUNE 30, 2022, SAFE HAVEN'S RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM PROVIDED 10,753 NIGHTS OF SAFETY TO 259 ADULTS AND CHILDREN (94 HOUSEHOLDS, 165 CHILDREN). THE AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY IN SHELTER WAS 59 NIGHTS. EXIT STATUS UPON EXIT FROM SHELTER: 38% EXITED TO FRIENDS OR FAMILY 27% EXITED TO PERMANENT HOUSING (OWN HOUSE/APARTMENT, PERMANENT HOUSING, ABUSER) 9% EXITED TO TRANSITIONAL HOUSING OR OTHER DV SHELTER 10% EXISTED TO OTHER (MOTEL, NON-DV SHELTER, HOMELESS SHELTER) 16% EXITED TO UNKNOWN
CLIENT SERVICES NON-RESIDENTIAL SERVICES TO ABUSED INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. SAFE HAVEN RESPONDED TO 2,072 UNIQUE CRISIS CONTACTS WITH 2,790 CALLS TOTAL. INDIVIDUALS RECEIVING TRAUMA-INFORMED CASE MANAGEMENT WERE ENGAGED IN AN ARRAY OF SERVICES INCLUDING: EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, LEGAL ADVOCACY, HOUSING ADVOCACY, PARENTING SUPPORT, DEVELOPING HEALTHY COPING MECHANISMS AND STRENGTHENING RESILIENCE. SAFE HAVEN PROVIDED 2,650 SESSIONS OF CASE MANAGEMENT TO 343 INDIVIDUALS IN OUR RESIDENTIAL AND NONRESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS. SAFE HAVEN FACILITATED 4 TYPES OF SUPPORT GROUPS TO 151 CLIENTS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022. DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, SAFE HAVEN GROUPS WERE LIMITED TO PRIMARILY VIRTUAL PLATFORMS. SAFE HAVEN'S PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL GROUPS INCLUDED CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING; ADULT DV EDUCATION GROUP, CHILDREN'S SUPPORT GROUP (71 CHILDREN SERVED) AND ADULT DV ED SPANISH LANGUAGE GROUP.
