INDEPENDENT LIVING - ASSIST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN THEIR ABILITY TO LIVE AND WORK ON THEIR OWN. THIS INVOLVES TRAINING COUNSELING, REFERRALS, AND ADVOCACY.
SKILLS - WORK WITH STUDENTS TO TRANSITION THEM FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO BEING ON THEIR OWN AS ADULTS, HELPING CONSUMERS GET THE TRAINING THEY MIGHT NEED ON RESUMES, INCLUDING JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS, AND HELPING CONSUMERS WHO CANNOT MANAGE MONEY BY THEMSELVES.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION & OUTREACH - EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ON DISABILITY ISSUES, TRAINING PEOPLE ON PERSON CENTERED PLANS (PCP) SO THEY CAN FACILITATE A PCP WITH CONSUMERS, AND FINDING HELP FOR PEOPLE THROUGH AN INFORMATION AND REFERRAL PROGRAM.
